Barbie Y. Hee has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Hawaii for 10 years. She has succeeded in attaining designations as Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Counsel of Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and Professional Internet Specialist (e-PRO). Obtaining various certifications has equipped Barbie to properly educate her clients on all facets of the Real Estate Industry. In order to continually provide excellent service and care for her clients, Barbie is currently pursuing the most coveted CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) in which only 20% of the Commercial Brokers in Hawaii are deemed to hold. As a result, she is already able to analyze, valuate and select properties that would benefit her clients’ Real Estate Portfolio.
Barbie’s industry experience include forming a six partner LLC, creating a HUI of family members and making personal investments, all of which required buying, selling and flipping real estate. In addition to residential properties, Barbie has also knowledge and experience in Commercial Leasing and Sales.
Barbie and her husband Daven have been together for the past 23 years and they both reside in Honolulu, Hawaii. They have two daughters, Deandra (recent graduate from Seattle University) and Christina (recent graduate from the Art Institute of San Diego).
In addition to being a full-time realtor, Barbie also volunteers a great amount of time with her church, Innovative Concepts. One of her responsibilities includes organizing a weekly power lunch for about 30 business people in the downtown area. This one hour lunch allows business people to share their victories and challenges, network with other professionals and receive an inspirational message of hope for both their personal and work life. Since the time it launched in November of 2007, over 150 people have attended.
During her free time, Barbie enjoys playing the guitar, reading, exercising and spending as much time with her kids, especially the biggest one, her husband!
